International DJ call IDC "the future king of electronic rock'n'roll", DJ Mag famously said "he makes music that sounds like a washing machine on crack" and Mixmag tag him "the one-man electro machine".

IDC's new single Bolshy Beats is out now. June's issue of Mixmag reckons "it's business as usual for 2008 as he throws raging guitar riffs, pumping beats and out-there arpeggios together" and likens it to Boys Noize...

IDC DJ dates include a wide range of the biggest and best : Zouk Singapore, Volar Hong Kong, Ochoymedio/Elastico Madrid, Together at Turnmills London and many regular headline appearances in the 3,000 capacity main room of Razzmatazz in Barcelona amongst others. IDC released two singles in 2007, 'Stomp' ("Coming on strong like the snotty nosed, unruly bastard child of Alter Ego's 'Rocker'" - iDJ 5 stars ) and 'Akai Elvis' ("you can instantly hear why it's getting the same kind of response LCD Soundsystem's "Losing My Edge" got before it reached saturation levels" - DJ Mag).

Summer 2007 saw Mixmag review IDC's monthly UK DJ residency Dirty Weekend as one of the top three clubs in the UK, saying "this is Dirty Weekend where resident DJs rule and there is definitely a stick of rave for every stick of rock. Since starting six months ago, DW's sculpted the best bits of clubbing 07 into one tidy package, regularly pulling bigger crowds than New Year's Eve."

Dirty Weekend saw IDC DJ alongside guests such as Shitdisco, Client, Mark Moore and Mecury Award Nominees New Young Pony Club and Jamie T. The club was featured in Mixmag, NME and on Sky News TV.

* Dance press features and DJ set reviews in 2007 were featured in DJ Magazine, iDJ, Mixmagand Spain's Trax magazine amongst many others.

A "Bubblin Under" feature in International DJ tagged IDC "the future king of electronic rock'n'roll" and DJ Mag's "hottest names in dance" feature said "he makes music that sounds like a washing machine on crack. The great thing about IDC is that he uses the best elements of rock'n'roll (namely phat twisted electric guitar riffs) with tripped out electro beats and grotty Alter Ego-style synths. No wonder the likes of Mark Moore, Erol Alkan, Pete Tong and John Kennedy are all over his tunes"

2007 saw two single releases, 'Stomp' ...
"IDC has delivered one seriously heavy slice of deviant dancefloor electro. Check it now, or forever walk around with sign saying 'kick me' on your back" iDJ 5/5

"This really is as noisy as f**k"
"Electro Single Of The Week" DMC Update 5/5

"A battlecry to raise arms and prepare for the future sound of electronica"
DJ Magazine

... followed by his first official UK chart entry 'Akai Elvis'
"Is this house? Is this breaks? Is this electro? Who gives a rat's arse, it's a filthy feel-good romp that's likely to tickle the soles of anybody's dancing feet"
iDJ 4/5

"You can instantly hear why it's getting the same kind of response "Losing My Edge" got before it reached saturation levels"
DJ Magazine

* 2007 IDC remix releases included Client's single "Zerox Machine" - DJ Magazine reckoned it "takes the guitar-laced original into bleepy electronica land - think Ladytron produced by SMD". IDC also remixed Shitdisco, Volunteer and Spain's Lkan.

Other IDC remixes include"Enemies Like This" for legendary New York rock/dance innovators Radio 4, which became the lead track on their worldwide single release.

* Radio exposure for IDC spans the world including Essential Selection Buzz Chart, Steve Lamacq and Annie Nightingale on BBC Radio One; UK commercial radio DJs such as John Kennedy, Jim Gellatly & James Hyman; USA stations including KEXP, WMFU, indie 103.1fm, KUCI, LIVE 105 and many more
